What it means

A nutritional approach tailored to the needs of the cancer patient that takes into account the side effects of treatments. The aim is to maintain body weight and prevent malnutrition.

Oncology psychological counseling
Specialized support provided by a psychologist or psychotherapist experienced in oncology. It helps the patient and family manage difficult emotions and develop coping strategies.
Cancer recovery
A process of physical and mental recovery after active cancer treatment. It includes adapted physical activity, physiotherapy, and nutritional and psychological counseling to improve quality of life.
Cancer rehabilitation plan
A structured program that helps the patient regain physical, cognitive or emotional functions affected by cancer or its treatment. It includes physiotherapy, speech therapy and counseling.
