What OncoDots is

OncoDots is a digital companion for the first 90 days after a cancer diagnosis. It does not replace your doctor and it does not rush anyone: it gathers in one place the practical next steps, the questions worth asking at an appointment, and the information you need on the days when your head remembers nothing. It runs in the browser, on a phone or a computer, and can be installed as an app.

What OncoDots does NOT do

It does not diagnose, does not recommend treatments, does not interpret test results and does not predict how the disease will develop. It is not a medical device and it does not give legal advice. Medical decisions stay between the patient and the team treating them. In an emergency, call your country's emergency number — in Romania, 112.

Who it is for
For patients, for the family and friends who help, and for clinics that want to hand the patient something concrete on the way out. The public part is readable without an account. An account adds the tools that need memory: treatment reminders, symptom tracking, appointment preparation, and the care circle — the people you give access to, with permissions you can withdraw at any time.
Languages and countries
The whole text exists in Romanian and in English. Resources that depend on the health system — the emergency number, crisis lines, national support services, patient and carer rights — are written separately for Romania, Germany, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom, each with its official source and the date it was last checked. That part is also written for Romanians who receive treatment abroad.
Who writes it and who checks it
OncoDots presents information in plain language, cites relevant sources and reviews content according to its level of risk. High-risk material is published only after the required medical review, and material is reassessed when a source changes.See how we check what we write
